Took the boss to the drag's tonight..
I took the boss to the Shannonville drag strip tonight and had a blast. I did five 1/4 mile passes total. My best pass was 12.98, with trackey on the stock pirelli's. It was my first time on a timed track and there was definitely a bit of a learning curve. Total fun though! Slip below (I was 7)

Man and I had my BOSS for 24 hours last night and there was nothing left to polish. I am only an hour and a half drive to the track. I wish I knew I would have run too. My 2011 SHO has run a 13.00 so right around your time. A 12.9 is not bad for a low traction track. I will run MT Drag Radials at the track though.

I was launching at 3000rpm with just a small amount of spin. I was trying to shift around 7300 but need some work perfecting that..on my best run I still bounced of the rev limiter in third.

You'll need a 28" tall drag radial to keep you from having to shift into 5th at the dragstrip with your 3.73 gears. M&H Racemasters are very sticky; I run 275/50/17's on my '11 5.0L GT and they hook up perfectly with just a light burnout in the box before staging.
