Stock control arms

Does the Boss share the same control arms as the GT? Or are they more stiff?

They might be slightly better but are still junk. I would replace both the lowers and upper. Made a world of difference on mine.

I went with BMR for the lower control arms in the rear.

BTW, there is a very heated debate on the value of aftermarket LCAs on S197forum:

I ended up just changing the UCA only. Got rid of all wheel hop. I did end up getting more NVH though.

Can you quote relevant portions so I don't have to register there?

Please don't link Corey (Mustangfreak) back to that site... Some of the stuff that comes off of that site as "fact" is downright comical. I can't count the times I've heard Corey repeat something he's seen posted there and everyone in the garage/room just goes...

The Steeda billet control arms will be a great solution over the OEM arms. We have tested these on some of our faster and most powerful Mustangs so they have been put to the test.

The super strong billet construction is also lighter than stock!

Give it a look and let us know if we can answer any questions for you!

We have been working closely with the Boss as of late.. I can assure you, you wont be disappointed in the improvement.

Regardless of whom you choose to go wtih, enjoy the ride!!!

Edit: God forbid if I give any of my friends a light rib jab.

I only asked for relevant portions as a link back to the site would simply show the "you need to register" page again..

It'd be easier to register. Basically it was a bunch of venders arguing wether LCA's are necessary for cars that see more road courses/auto x than car that drag race.

I had a chance to check out a set at Sacramento Mustang today and they are stout looking. I have no idea if they would be of any help on a road course but they look nice.
