I didn't see this coming, but with all the paint shortages stemming from the tsunami in Japan it isn't surprising!

 

Which colors are affected by the paint shortages? I assume body work would be a concern.

 

Well Sonic Blue is close to Vista which my old GT was. So this would be tough. I liked Vista the best of all of the blues.

Still not changing my CO Boss.

 

Here's the colors for Boss 302 pulled straight from the '12 Boss 302 order banks...

CI GRABBER BLUE
HP PERFORMANCE WHITE
L6 KONA BLUE
PQ RACE RED
SN SONIC BLUE
UA BLACK
UX INGOT SILVER

Doesn't appear to be any colors eliminated, just the addition of Sonic Blue.

 

Don't see NQ in there, fine with me, makes it rare. Also where is Orange? That list does not make sense, three blues let alone they said the BJ Boss would be one of a kind.

 

yeah im not realyl buying that list. the pigments that were short were metallics and then the prism lookign ,metallics for tuxedo black. that is unless new pigments are short. i cant see red being ok and comp orange not being ok.

however i can see kona and YB being cut over pigments, they both look to have similar pigments to that tuxedo black.

 

It's the only grabber blue Laguna Seca for 2012 MY. That could still be true. But yeah missing YB and CO seems wrong.

 

Competion Orange is not listed, is it being eliminated and the Grabber Blue (CI) being added?

co was the only color not offered on a normal stang, i wonder if the sonic blue will be boss exclusive to replace it. ill not be happy, grabber blue is my color.

 

Perhaps Grabber Blue would be offered for the Boss not the LS.

 

Read the other thread you posted, I'm not surprised that job2 gets changes in color but am surprised the are changing the boss colors.

 

They also said you couldn't piece together your own boss

 

At this point you still can't, but if you could, it would cost about the price of two cars, literally.
