Snow Boss

Thought I'd take advantage of today's break in the weather and drive the Boss before committing it to a long winter's slumber. Work kept me in the office for an hour or two past my normal exit time, and well after nightfall. As I left the carport and headed out of the parking lot, I noticed that the local precipitation seemed a little unusual. It was friggin' SNOW. Luckily the temperature stayed above freezing, so it basically melted upon contact with the ground. Here's the skinny on the Pirelli's - They AIN'T snow tires (betcha' knew that). Anhoo, made it home safely. Snow Boss, in Competition Orange.

Congrats! Glad your travels were safe...the snow caught me by surprise this evening. It's still fall, right?

Glad you made it. I'm waiting on my Tiger hood and should have it next week. So far we've been snow free so am hoping to get it in to the body shop for painting next week. Unfortunately I just saw they are forecasting 1/2" tomorrow I guess I'm hoping it won't stick either.......

Hopefully its not like New Jersey. We put down 1" of salt for every 1/2" of snow. We then wonder why our roadway system is one big pothole. The salt is the enemy.

Yep, same here. That's why I'm hoping it doesn't stick. If they salt I'll probably wait until spring, or load it on my trailer and haul it down there.

Well, we got a good 8" last night so I'll be sending some your way so you don't feel left out.

That would be some trick. Usually we're sending it your way

Here in the "Hood" i.e., Southern California - the term "Snow Boss" has an entirely different meaning!

The snow was gone the next morning. Beside, it's just solid water.

Good thing the snow was gone the next day. I was wondering how you would get around.

My daily driver is an awd FX35. The Boss is no good in the snow for some reason.
