The shaker seems to small, out of proportion with the size of the S-197, IMO making it a tad bigger in length and width would make it work.

Would you be ok with them using the Evos concept to base the new Mustang off of though?
I've been saying for quite some time that Ford should make the next "specialty" car a
N/A version of the GT500's 5.8 liter (making 475-500 hp).
But many here on this site discredited me for saying so.
To me, as it did months ago when I first mentioned it, makes perfect sense.
As I've also said, I think the 2015 Mustang GT will have a version of the current Boss 302 motor (minus the forged internals to save money).
I expect the 2015 GT will have the Boss 302's intake manifold.
I expect power to be rated at 430-435 hp

I doubt it.
All the new Ford's for the past 2-3 years have looked fantastic (explorer, escape, fusion, etc).
They have a great group of designers right now.
It's one of the major reasons I did not buy a 2013 model.
I was chomping at the bit to order a 2013 Boss 302 (and I probably would have if they offered it in Sterling Grey, Deep Impact Blue, or Red Candy).
I was also seriously considering a 2013 GT500, but the dealer mark ups for the first several months eliminated that (I won't pay over MSRP for a car, heck I've never even paid MSRP), if dealers want to actually move cars, you sell for MSRP or less. Makes MUCH more sense to sell 10 cars at MSRP or a bit less, than 1-2 with $5k mark ups and then often times end up with these cars sitting on your lot for months.
But now, in 1.5 years the new 2015's will be out and I suspect they will be world class cars for their price points. As it is, you can't get a better all around performing car for the money than the Mustang's.
The 2015's are going to move that bar way up I'm sure.

That would be true if we got more of these cars. Here we are in Aug 2012 and I will not get another 2013 Boss 302. I have one more GT500 coming (should be here in the next 2-3 weeks) and it's the last 2013 I will get. Supply and Demand.
I agree that the 2015 will not only look great, but should be a great performer.
