My brother-in-law has gotten the same thing said about his, but as another guy said the correct response to that is "No, this is what Bumble Bee should have been!"

I could think of worse things I could say about your Boss.

 

Right next to me to his kid when I arrived at a car show and was getting out of my car. "There is one of the new Boss 302s, I like the old ones alot better."

You want to look at folks like that and say, "what did you drive here in, Sparky?"

 

I hear that quite often too. LOL, That a { That Boss has a White Roof like a Ford Flex or Taxi}

 

I Would have waited until it was time to leave, pulled up next to the kid on my way out and said "be careful playing in the streets because " he just might sting you!"

well, the original bumble bee was a mustang that a shop built to make the camaro concept.

 

Didn't Saleen inc. produce bumblebee because GM at the time could not figure out how to fabricate their own design of the camaro?

In return, one of the transformers would be a saleen mustang in the movie?

 

correct, the 2nd movie had real camaro in it.

 

Reminds me of the movie 2 fast 2 furious. Mitsubishi plunked down the majority of cash to make that film.

In return, the Mitsubishi vehicles would not lose any races in the movie. Just love the part where the little Mitsubishi ricer car blows by the viper and z06 vette. The Saleen E mustang in that movie ended up flattened between two trucks.

To top it all off Saleen produced a special edition mustang based on that movie? Why???

Also a Hollywood homicide movie edition around the same time. I believe the car in that movie ended up flattened as well. Lol

I will always love 99-04 body style from saleen. However, that was when I began to lose interest in the company. To me, They really started to come off as just a "sell out flash company." They lost that exclusive feel.

Plus the "Terminator" caught my eye... Not the movie this time.
