Reas seat delete, tire storage?

For those who have the rear seat delete, is there more room in the rear for transporting race tires to the track?

Right now I can only fit 3 race tires in my Boss so I was thinking of doing the rear seat delete to lose weight AND gain rear storage. I can fit two in the trunk.

Will two (295 35 18) tires fit in the the rear seat delete area?

Do the boss rear seats fold down? I can fit four 255/40/19 wheels and tires (together, not unmounted) fairly easily. I'd think 295's would still fit. If I removed the rear seats I'd have plenty of room. Primary issue was the short height from the seat backs to the roof.

Yes Boss rear seats fold down
with my harness bar the only way to get my tires into the back seat is thru the trunk with rear seat down AND the 295s are a bit too tall to fit thru the trunk-seat pass thru :-(

Yeah, I get mine in through the side doors, could never get them through the trunk. I'm not sure the seat delete will give you any more room between the trunk and cabin.

If you goal is to get tires into that area and you have a harness bar. My answer is good luck. If you didn't have the harness bar then yes. I'd say two 295 tires in that area would fit. Here is a pic to illustrate...although it may not illustrate that well.
