From a style standpoint the body color surround looks better but I think this is OK, makes the Boss look mean.

The Grille was easy to modify but took some time to refine it. It is a track grille but I doubt I will switch it out often so I wanted it to look nice.
That looks great! What did you do besides cutting out the fog lights?

The bars in the middle up top and the bars on the left side. It is the same as the Miller and 302S cars so hopefully this will work. When they do come out with the oil cooler remount I will do that also.

One mistake I made was lining up the mesh with the horizontal line on the top of the fake lights. After the grille is installed the mesh turned out to be at a slight angle.

Looks great. This is a more elegant solution than mine. I'm going to take mine apart and have the surround painted body color, though.

What technique did you use to remove the excess?
I removed the extra material near the air inlet but didn't like how it looked so I didn't go any further

Used a Dremel (sp?) tool. Never found a use for one before and had to borrow it from a friend since I do not have my own but it worked well on plastic. I bought a tiny metal cutter for his tool, only real problem was the plastic would melt together as you cut, like what happened when I made the splitter.

The tool is straight and it was difficult to make some cuts around the tabs that were sticking up along the edges. Also around the fake lights there are spots with little room to work but as I said just a little extra time in those areas and it will look OK. I cut from the side not the inner part of the fake lights and bars, like the can openers you see on TV that open the cans from the side with no sharp edges (hope that make sense).

I guess I should have taken some pics, sorry bout that , however they would have made the process look worse then it was. When I got done I spend time with little files making all the lines straight and the corners sharp.

The NQ paint is three stage and a little hard to match so I will put the original away for now. I just sprayed it with a spray bomb, not perfect in fact the paint is the weak point of the job but it is just a track grille afterall

Going to the track for my 2nd outing this Sunday. Probably let the instructor drive it. That will be the first person besides me (and the salesman) behind the wheel

Here is a side by side video from my last track weekend. I am on the right side. This is on the stock P-Zeros for both runs.

Since this pic thread needs more pics, I'll post the pic my dealer emailed me this morning.

It's my BOSS waiting on the showroom floor for my return from overseas.

I won't be able to pick it up until December. Not sure I'll last that long.

The way the car looks ("DRIVE ME DAMMIT"), I'm afraid it might drive itself out of there and start having fun without me.
