You're near Picton? I love that part of Prince Edward County. I spent 5 summers in Belleville when I worked at Shannonville back in the 90's.

Waiting on new gears, or a new rear-end whichever can be delivered first.

 

What happened?

 

OUCH...WHAT HAPPENED!!

 

Nothing really. It's just become noisy over time. At first I thought it was the rear brakes, as it made a muffled metallic rubbing sound. A couple weeks back it got noticeably louder, so I brought it in to get checked out.

The oil looked great, no signs of metal particles, seemingly no signs of water either. The pits you see are on the coast side of the gear tooth.

 

Boss #1774, built 08/19, delivered 09/01. North GA hwy 129 (09/03)..."Blood Mountain".

 

^ Wow, they seemed to be moving them quicker; less than two weeks from production to delivery. Neat photos.

 

I missed a day...car was produced on 08/19, shipped 08/25, delivered to the dealer (GA) on 08/31. Thanks Deysha for all the info/updates!!
