You could convert to Grabber Blue with enough rolls of tape and your quality wrap.

Ha, I actually thought of something along those lines when I was doing this last night. We'll see what I can come up with for the return trip...

Very nice I wish I would have thought of that. I picked up 2 chips on my second day with the car (800 mile day to TN). I actually like the way it looks and would well for track days.

I'm looking to have the front wrapped now. Just need to find a good place in Dallas to do it. Anybody knows of one post up.

let me take one for the day to hold me over while I waited on the Boss. But to my dismay the wife won't give up her SUV maybe when the kids are gone.

Wife's looking at enclosed trailers. Was thinking I'd need a diesel pickup to pull it, but man I love the Raptor. Hmm wonder what the towing capacity is on that thing....

Painters tape held up just fine to the 80mph cruising speeds for 875+ miles. (took the scenic route from Meridian, MS to Montgomery, versus following I-20 up to Birmingham then cutting down on I-65. Saved about 40 miles i believe, and the roads were much more fun and beautiful.) No bug guts, no rock chips, no flapping in the wind rub marks, and no residue from the tape. Definitely happy! And to boot, no unwarranted attn from the police.

Cool! That's my truck. Or rather I have that trucks twin in my garage. It's my daily driver. Your wife has excellent taste in vehicles.

Unfortunately it's only 6000 pounds towing capacity. It's the only draw back. I think it is the suspensions fault. It's made to go 100mph in the desert and not to tow. Plenty of torque though in the 6.2L.

Bummer, that's what I figured....same as my F-150. I'm going to have to start researching trucks once the snow flies. Oh well, gives me something to do over the long winter.

OTOH with a Raptor and your Boss you'll be able to drive flat out on and off the road.

She finally made it off her two month long cruise and is just waiting to be bailed out. I have to get my Italian license before I can get to her. That should be tomorrow but it just so happens that Italians take most of this week off for vacation so I have to wait until Thursday or Friday.
