Wife was going through our box of 30+ years of photos. She found the only surviving pics of our 70 Boss, poor quality, no digital back then.
70 Boss 302, Grabber Blue, no rear window louvers or Shaker scoop. Aftermarket aluminum slotted wheels.
Bought in '78 for $1500.00 in poor shape. I painted it, rebuilt the trans, rear end, steering box and lots of other items. Sold in '84 for $2850.00, kids....

Pics from today.
I took the BOSS to downtown Wetumpka, AL - my hometown. We're kinda like Alabama's version of Mayberry, and our biggest claim to fame is being where the movie Big Fish was filmed. If you've seen the movie, you may recognize the bridge and the courthouse in the pics below.
Complete BOSS album here:
(Pics available in full size, and also everything on the gallery is available for purchase... :look:
)

Driving across the bridge

The white building in this pic is actually Wetumpka's first jail, dating back to the late 1800's. I didn't get any 'good' pics of the building itself, but it's only about 20'x15' with one small window by the door, with cross bars.

Just trying to catch the bridge in the background...

For reference, here's the trailer for Big Fish. You can see the bridge at 0:51 and again at 1:52

Thanks sir. I'm on leave en route right now, fly out on the 27th. Enjoying sleeping in (unless going golfing or fishing), and trying my darndest to grow a beard, though I don't think any of the Duck Dynasty boys have anything to worry about.
