This one's headed to the UK

Sorry folks, you don't get to keep 'em all

This is one of two (identical specs) that are heading to the UK, very soon.

The lucky owners are members of Mustang Owners Club GB.......and I can't wait to see oneof them person!

wont that dealership get in trouple as they are gray market? We CANNOT sell a Toyota or Hyundai if it will be exported less than 3 months after retail sales and they have to be titled in the states first

I didn't know it's an issue! I'll certainly ask the question of a couple of importers here in the UK. Perhaps they have special deals with particular dealers. I'm certainly interested to know, now!

No, not for the UK. The only changes required are to the lights, ensuring there are rear fogs and orange turn signals. The new rear LED lights should make this relatively simple.

With regards the number of the Boss.....the owner is waiting for delivery to find out. Guess it's like awaiting the birth of your son or daughter

I also asked the question of a couple of importers on the legality of supplying unregistered cars........seems this is a grey area but there are (cough) ways around it

Hey bud, I've sold 2 Mustangs to forum members overseas. One was a 2011 and the other was a 2012. No issues at all on my end. The owner has to import it himself, and for me, as long as we have the funds transfered to our account, and the car leaves here on a flatbed, its out of my hands and in his. Both guys did the importing themselves and it was a cinch for me.

BTW, what dealer do you work at? Are you on the east side of PA or west side?

East side about an hour from you. Our issues were that both Toyota and Hyundai will reverse the RDR, charge back all incentives, and if caught again risk losing allocation if a car is sold and then exported within a short time period. I sold 2 Tacomas and they sat in Texas until we released the MSO 1 week beore the "waiting period" was up and the trucks were presented at the border 3 days early...lets just say I got into a little trouble

Hey bud, I'm up for that. That would be great.

On the exporting thing, its only the price that is used. No incentives at all. I make that perfectly clear ahead of time. And no export tax here in PA. I'll PM you shortly.

Well, Ford UK imported one of their own, albeit a 2012 model, and this one has been of 5th Gear.
