Perry, I don't know. I was just in Sheboygan in early December for a weekend getaway and Packer game. My wife and I were there as guests of a friend that owns a large manufacturing company whose products we sell. He's a big car guy and has run at Road America quite a bit. We talked at length about how tough of a time I was having finding a Laguna Seca, so he made a few calls for me to dealership owners that he knows in Chicago and Denver. If there was an allocation at the local dealer, I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have arranged that for me as he's pretty plugged into the local business community...unless they don't get along

His response "sounds" like he doesn't even realize that these are being sold through a very limited allocation process...but that's a big generalization for me to draw from that short email. I think you should see if you can get verification of their allocation. They should have some authorization (letter) from Ford telling them they won an allocation that they can produce for you.

thanks, I will have to ask for that. I really think they don't know how limited it is. most dealers are responding no. I will look further into this tomorrow
