My zone rep told me the same thing. Stock orders would likely be built before retail orders. I left mine retail. I'm in no hurry.

 

I do not doubt you at all, as you have way more intel then me. I was going on what my dealer told me, all order will be pick up equally this year. Anyway mine and several others got built first week so trying to make sense of the process can make your head explode, one thing for sure I am happy mine is waiting to head out.

 

2012YellowBoss: what's your current VVS status from the dealer? I may have missed an earlier post.

 

It is in Area 51 and ETA to the dealer is Mar 1 (as per CS today and VV a few days ago). I think it will take Jesus himself parting the mighty Mississippi to get it there by Tues, including weekends and 3/1 that is 6 days away.

 

You're probably right. More like 10 days at best....
Can't believe that with our build dates coinciding and not much difference in distance from the plant that our ETAs are so different.

 

MY ETA is still showing as 3/3 in the system, I keep checking every few days to see if there are any updates. My Boss was built on 2/16

3 5.0 2012's came it today at my dealership. Unless my sales person read the stickers wrong! Mine wasn't one of them. My build week starts Monday 2/28.

 

Pretty exciting, too bad I still don't have a VIN or build date...

What dealer, you can check the stickers on line? I have been searching local dealers but nothing yet on the 12's.

 

There is a post here with the site to check Vin's that's how I checked mine.
The impression I get from the dealer is they don't know they are coming til they show up on their lot!
I know that's not true, but thats what they want you to believe.

 

Well, like I said, those 3 cars shipped in the afternoon and arrived within hours. Unless they happened to specifically checked within that small timeframe it would have been a surprise ...

Salesman just called and said the LS has been assinged a train. Getting real close now. Woohoo!!!!

 

Bossinator, congrats! That's a sure sign man! I expect to see a rail car assignment for mine today or Monday. It's showing In Transit, Received-Rail as of 0645 yesterday morning.

 

Will we see some customer deliveries next week?
