Just came from the dealership: VIN 200331 is "Produced" as of 2/17. It's probably sitting on Ramp R about this point. ETA to Charleston, SC is still 14 March. Hopefully, we'll see some "Awaiting Transportation" status for a few of us in the next 24-48 hours.

EVERYONE WITH EARLY DELIVERY DATES PLEASE READ THIS:
Until your car has been assigned either a rail car number or a convoy (truck) number, it has NOT left the plant. With every new model year, ALL cars are held until such a time as there have been no build errors for 2 or 3 days. On top of that, there may have been Quality Control issues with one or more components of the earliest built cars. If that happens:
1) No one will tell you about it
2) The cars will remain at the plant until the issue is corrected
So I would recommend that you take all delivery dates with a grain of salt. I don't want to temper people's excitement about getting their cars, it's just that there were a number of people who became impatient and upset (sometimes rightly so) with the lack of information and lack of delivery of their cars at the beginning of production last year.
Because of the volume of production and the QC hold, the earliest cars are also sometimes "up against the fence", which means that ones built afterwards get shipped first once the "OK to Buy" is given.
This post from the 2011 Build, Delivered, VIN sequence thread (with ~1700 posts and 42 thousand views by people jonesing for their cars) should give you an idea of how bad it got last year. A number of cars had not been delivered until more than two months after they were built. This year should be better, as there are less changes to the powertrain for the Boss' than for all Stangs last year.

PTRocks: I know, I'm just reporting my status as it updates. Produced means produced. Went through this exact same process 18 months ago with a GT500; it was a learning experience. That car was on the lot long enough for a friend that works for Ford to take pictures of it before they put on the drivers side GT500 stripe! It spent 45 days in QC hold: I was losing my mind.

BossLS: yours must be hauling the mail! Of course they don't necessarily produce in serial # order, so even though your number is higher it may have been produced first. Though I wouldn't be surprised if mine showed "In Transit" now, my "Produced" status was a couple of working days ago.....

Like PT said, until you get an actual railcar # with a shipped status, it's best to restrain your enthusiasm; it still may be a month away from arriving.

My production week was 2/28. The sticker came up this morning. Talked to sales person and she looked it up on their computer and it said it was in production, and I know that means nothing! Until is rolls off he line. I changed my order from Customer to stock order at the advice of my sales person. She said they would get pulled first waiting for a clean run. She has been right on so far.

It is my understanding that is one of the things Ford changed this year, one of our insiders can confirm this.
