Official Boss Production Began Today!
I know what I wanted and got what I wanted
You're doing better than me then. Wheels are here. Brake pads and fluid are here. Watts link is here. Ordering steel braided brake lines this week. Ordering c/c plates this week. I need help!!!!
What are you ordering for a garage door opener? I have a quote for the GT premium auto dimming rear view mirror with Homelink and ambient for $450 installed from my dealer, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I have two garage door openers at home and one at the office so will probably buy it even though it's totally non-performance.
Which iPhone holder are you looking at? Any recommendations on the iPhone GPS? My helmet is also out of date and I'll need a new one before I hit the track. The local indoor Kart track does not check the Snell date.
....
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Open the door old-school. It's called a "handle". That way you can appreciate the sweet music of the engine while you open the garage.
I'm being sarcastic btw. I'm regurgitating some of the cliches thrown out when I brought up the point about the Boss being unavailable with the EP and other options. (which is why I'm passing on one.) I find it ironic when the '12s are available with built in openers and dimming mirrors and GPS when they could be offered on the Boss, seeing that half the people buying them will end up doing it aftermarket anyways...

Unless something changes in the next couple of weeks my car will be the first Boss I see, I heard there was one at a Tampa show but I was not around for that. Nothing else (show) is scheduled down this way for a long time. No biggie

I have a strange feeling I will not be disappointed.
I know what I wanted and got what I wanted You should've gone to the Homestead Ford 400 like I did last Nov. Below are some photos I took of the YB Boss.

This car represents a cheap track car for me. I was considering cars that were much more expensive until it became available. My DD is a BMW which spoils me with all the goodies. I just need to be able to drive it to the track, have a ball and drive it home.
I don't want a trailer, a crew, or extra wheels and tires.

It pains me to spend $450 for a non-performance part like a rear view mirror just to get the garage openers. But given the Boss will split time as my daily driver with my GT500, plus be riding on a trailer 1 or 2 weekends a month to track events, I don't want to mess with 3 separate openers. Going into and out of the office garage to see clients several times a day or running errands or go joyride on the weekends means a lot of pulling on the "handle". Not to mention, three openers hanging from the visor is a bit distracting for "spirited" driving
