New wheels for 1919, and some other small changes
THanks dude, you have had several sets of the wheels now lol
I think they are close to the same. I would have went with those if I hadnt traded my stockers. I like the GT500's with these tires as they are better than the stock boss tires, plus the 265 compared to 255 front looks like it fits better. I also like how the 20 rear makes the huge rear fender gap look a little better.
Thanks, I really like the 20 rear!
I was thinking the same thing, if I keep them for a while maybe I will have them powder coated black.
You have the FR 19's right? Does the 285 looked streched on that 10 inch rear wheel? I like the way the 285 fits on the stock boss and Gt500 9.5 rears, not streched at all.

I saw your car at Cars & Coffee (last photo), but I didn't see anyone around who looked like the owner. The chairs behind the car were vacant and nobody was really standing nearby. Anyway, sorry to have missed you, but your car looks great!
I do think these wheels look better than stock, but I don't dislike the stock wheels enough to change them, especially since I want to invest in track wheels.
Oh, where did you get the shorty antenna? I will probably need one of those when my wing goes on.
I'm sure I will see you around. Cheers,
Jimmy

Took the wheels back off and cleaned inside and sealed all of wheel with pooboys wheel sealant and installed "302" center caps. Also blacked out the rear side lights and had clear bra installed.

This was from a shop in the Austin area, and was around 600. Entire front bumper, hood a little past the stripe, fenders, headlights and side mirrors. It can be more depending on film used and what you want covered.
I love the look of the rtr's just don't care for the sizes. I personally like the staggered set of these wheels and really like the rear 20. Also like the flat face of these wheels compared to the rtr's. Love the rtr cars, but wouldn't change the front boss stuff or decals for the rtr stuff. That's why I did the spoiler and side skirts. Post up some pics when you decide!
And visually, I agree 100% with you. I really like what you've done to yours, and would probably do almost exactly the same thing; just the RTR spoiler and skirts, maybe paint the hood to extend the black area out to cover more of the hood, and I also want to do the smoke reflectors, front and back. And then of course I'd want to get the wheels powder coated black.
That's all just an idea though, until the money tree starts blossoming.
I'm not sure but the SVT wheels look right. I think they might be slightly different from the stock wheels or it's just that they are 1/2" wider. I have my stock wheels on right now in preparation for an upcoming track day. I'm going to take photos to see if I can determine if the SVT wheels stick out more or less than the stock Boss wheels.
The sizes are the primary reason I haven't already swapped to them. I am also a fan of the staggered sizes.

5% if I recall correct

I am really interested in the RTR's right now as well. I'm friends with the owner of Blow By Racing on Facebook and a fan of their page (in fact, my BOSS is the one in their Coyote Cruise @ MustangWeek logo this year), and they just became an RTR authorized dealer/installer. It's got the idea in my head to do an RTR BOSS... But I am not completely sure just yet.
Looked at the splitter and it's only a cosmetic piece.
The "turn buckles" are only attached to the lower fascia plastic.
You can move the piece up and down a couple of inches with just your thumb and index finger....................
