New car in Forza
Doing some simulations today on Forza4, since the 2013 Boss and 2012 ZL1 are now available.
So those familiar will understand this system:
2010 GT500 rated a B489 car if I remember, I modded it to a A600 car.
2012 ZL1 is rated a A572 car bone stock
2013 Boss 302 is rated a A519 car bone stock
My best time on 'Ring ( full circuit, 12.90 miles) with the modded GT500 ( which in rating is only a few points ahead, maybe indicative of the 2013 rating if it was in the game) 9:09.785
Best time right now for the ZL1 ( only one run, bone stock off showroom floor) = 9:16.660
Best time for 2013 Boss 302 ( only one run, bone stock off showroom floor)= 9:24.794
**Disclaimer** This is all in fun and figured why not since in real life GM thinks its appropriate to market simulations as legit. Also I ran all cars on automatic shifting to maintain consistency, makes them slower obviously cant hit the shift points you want or you might even be in the wrong gear. Also each was run with a standing start, not a flying start! Hoping Forza releases the 2013 GT500 in game soon!

Took the Boss on some warm up laps at Silverstone and LS before putting her on the Ring.
Ran one lap bone stock from a stop, pulled a 9:29.188 with two bone head f'ups. Came in a little too hot at Aremberg, tires hit the cabbage and sucked me into the wall. Then totally screwed up the turn at Bergwerk. Cost me 10-12 seconds easy with both foul ups. That's manual shifting, with everything off except ABS. I think i can get her to turn a 9:15 with a couple more laps under her belt. I love this game. Gonna give the ZL1 some run's tomorrow to see how it handles.

Not really happy the handling is only 5.9 like the 2010 GT500. We all know even the "street" Boss 302 is a better handling car. Just took it for a joy ride on the ring and it was fun. I really liked the Scion FR-S as well. I'll take a spin with the ZL1 later. I wish they would have went with the block wheels instead of the silver ones on the ZL1.

I took mine for a lap around the ring, but with no suggestion lines and I couldnt even beat 10 LOL. But I havent played Forza in months, and the last time I played Forza with a serious attitude was Forza 2. I'm gonna keep practicing though.
