I thought that to be a bit much from the get-go and did not order them. I'm sorry I even spent $75 for the mats. Now just waiting for someone to make a set with the Boss 302 logo on them and I will get them, however the Powered By Ford also sounds like an option.

I must be the only one that likes the mats. Will the after-market ones snap in place with the floor anchors? Oh well.

Gary, I'm fine with the mats. The cover is crap, I'm surprised someone approved such a product. Took it off the car today, folded it up and tossed it in the attic. Some lucky person will think it's a gold mine after I've become part of the planet.

I honestly can't say I know what the cover looks like. It's still in the sealed bag. When I get car covers out here that means one thing....winter. After this past loooong winter, it's too depressing for me to even think about right now.

There's photos posted here somewhere. It has the C stripe on the sides and says Boss 302 on the front. The issue is the quality of the non lined cover.

The Lloyd's aftermarket mats have the holes to attach to the hooks. I believe many like me had hoped for embroidery like the seats on the mats instead of a small patch sewn to the mats.

Even if garaged a car cover is needed. Is there an aftermarket cover suitable for the Boss or GT?

Covercraft makes a wide range of covers to meet your needs. While they are available for the GT, I haven't seen any listed for the Boss yet. I presume a Boss-specific one will be needed to wrap around the splitter.

Yep, that was my thought. Really the mats are no different then the free ones with what looks a 2 cent, made in China, iron on patch. Oh and other then that I am happy

What makes you think you can put ANY cover on when the car is dusty without scratching? Plus it makes the cover dirty for endless scratches into the future (unless you hose the underside off).
Some use a duster but I don't even trust that.
Wash, dry, wait an hour or so to fully evap moisture (though my Costco/Covercraft cover is breathable), then cover.

There was a time when The Factory Mats were the BEE's KNEE's. Fords old mat supplier went out during the economic upheaval. After that the mats started coming from China.

I'm glad you are FINALLY happy.

I just sent Lloyd an email asking if they are going to make Boss 302 mats. They already make them for the 69/70 cars. I'll post their response when I receive it. Scroll down to the Mustangs...

The factory mats might look cheap but I find them very tough and my son has Lloyd mats and they shed like crazy.

The issue is not the quality of the mats, it's we want Boss 302 embroidered on them.

Experience. I've covered my Cobra with a soft, flannel cover for 6 years and haven't scratched it. When it get dirty, I throw it in the washer.

Must be a big washer to fit a car in it

I just receive the message below. Bummer. Looks like the pony and tri-bar or Ford Racing for me.

"Thanks for your interest in Lloyd Mats. As of January 1, 2011, Ford Motor Company is not licensing any Ford emblems (Boss 302) to be put on mats for vehicles 2000 and newer, sorry.

Regards,
Alex"
