New buyers, forget the crap cover...
New buyers, forget the crap cover...
Had my Boss detailed today and finally unpacked the Boss cover that came with the crap mats.
The cover is some kind of synthetic material that i think can actually scratch the car if put on when the car is dusty.
It's really a poor excuse for a cover, save your money.

Can you imagine that Ford has the b*lls to ask 800$ for that option in Canada? 800$ !?!!?? I can buy FIVE top quality covers for that price, and still have change left for the crappy mats.
I concur with the others; the mats and cover are crap. I put Lloyd mats in my Boss within a week of taking delivery. First because they're better IMO, and second because I wanted mats for the rear and the Boss package doesn't even give you a crap set for the back. By far this is the worst thing about the whole Boss purchase. Kudos to you guys who opted out ahead of time. I was too excited to be rational.

Aye Carumba! Ok if you got {stuck} with one of those covers & mats pack them away never use them and someday cause they are going to be RARE and somebody will have to have it when they Roll their Trailer Queen Boss Across Barrett Jackson. You can get a bundle for it on EBAY.

I got mine at Late Model Restoration because I really wanted the "Powered by Ford" embroidered mats. The Boss crap mats are charcoal to match the carpeting and seats and the Lloyd mats are black. I don't mind the slight color contrast so it was an easy choice for me. The Lloyd mats have two plastic latches that connect to the floor pins which secure them in place. Also, the Lloyd mats have a dead pedal cover and - wait for it - the Boss crap mats don't cover the dead pedal at all.

Too late for me too... can't believe they are charging that much for such a poor product. But, since I am currently a Q4 car, maybe if we all complain enough, Ford will have this quality (or lack there of) issue fixed.
Hello Deysha, are you listening???

You can have your dealer change your order anytime as long as you don't have your VIN.

I said the same thing when I saw it. Definately not worth the money.
