Don't know much about the order system but it SOUNDS promising!

 

Where did you get that info from?

 

I have a friend that has some access..very limited..he has been tracking my car for me..the dealer won't do crap!

 

Tell him to bump mine up too, lol

 

Oh he can't do that or I'd have my car already...he can just follow it which is more than my dealer is willing to do.

 

Don is your car a Q2 allocation?

 

I don't know...my friend can't find that out and my dealer doesn't seem to care or have a clue. If they do in fact know...they aren't telling me..I really can't get anything from them..They know the car is sold when and if it comes in...other than that I really don't think they care. There has been a management and sales person change. The original guy I dealt with isn't there anymore..I got handed off to somebody else who is more concerned with moving product off the lot to make a check...a special order doesn't seem to be a big deal to any of them. My only saving grace is I have the paper work from my deposit and I stop by and visit with them every couple of weeks.....They know I am tracking the car so they don't even bother...I'll just be glad when the deal is done and I have it home!

 

I was hoping someone else would answer this but from what I know the answer is no.

Priority 10 is the highest a dealer can put on a car, so that will be there number 1 picks. 1-10 are codes zone reps can put on the cars to bump it up. It has little to do with material hold (I think) as that seems to be a catch all phrase for any kind of unscheduled order or otherwise material shortage. In other words if there really is a parts shortage, like Recaros, then a 1 will not help if there is none to be had.

 

Got some more info...Got my VIN and a scheduled to build week of 16 May..NOW I'm starting to believe it's getting closer!!
