Maintenance Fluid Options other than Motorcraft

Hey fellas. I've seen some talk about this throughout a few threads but wanted to consolidate. Reason being is I cant get Motorcraft Oil here. At least 5w50. So after filling a cart with the needed fluids it came out to be almost $600.(I had some oil in there for my bike as well) VAT is a *****. I've always used Motul for my fluids but I'm wondering if any of you have experience with any of these other brands since the price difference can be substantial.

5w50 Engine Oil-

75w-140 Gear Oil-

Friction Modifier (Only option)

Manual Tranny Fluid-(Wont be doing this for a while I think)

I'll be sticking with RBF600 for the brakes.

Whatever you end up doing use the same weights that are recommended for the stock stuff.

For oil I would think you will be fine with the Mobil 1 5w-50.

For the transmission and rear end Redline would be fine.

You only need the friction modifier if you do not have the torsion helical rear diff.

For brake fluid I would use Endless RF650.

I'm debating on Amsoil or Redline for the diff and tranny fluid. I contacted Torsen and it looks like Ford added the friction modifier to make the diff quieter but it's not needed. No harm in using it either.

As for the motor oil I'll be changing mine often and will stick with Motorcraft for the time being. The two dealers local to me can change it out with the filter for $80 with their online coupons.

I talked to someone at Ford and the friction modifier is for the non-torsion diff....
