LS383 in the house.
LS383 in the house.
Just brought her home after a three month wait. SBY. I had the three LS parts installed, wasn't sure about the splitter but I'm glad I did. I had the dealer remove the baffles. First impression on my easy 70 mile ride home is... man is it loud. My ears are ringing. Its too early to compare to the 11 gt500 I sold for this but it definitely feels tighter. One thing I did notice when I put it in the garage stall was the 19 inch rear wheel vs the 20 that was on the Shelby. It definitely looks smaller. II'll post pics as soon as I detail it. I instructed them to do as little as possible. All interior plastic protection is still on. Hopefully I'll be Able to clean her up this weekend.EDIT.... OOPS, ITS 384. I CANT EDIT THE SUBJECT LINE. Sorry #383 wherever you are. I'm too excited and made a mistake.

I'm still waiting to see a SBY in person. Not being a green fan, I actually liked the GHIG I saw. I LIKE yellow!
Congrats on the purchase!
Edit: Hey - it's early yet but it's the weekend. Where's those pics!?

Thanks all. I'm in the process of going over every inch of the paint. First coat of Adams wax on. I have to say the paint job on this thing is really really good. I have a few bubbles in the stripes but they should go away after a few days in the hot southern sun. Cleaning the painted rockers is a lot more tedious than the black plastic that was on the '11 but it sure looks good.
