LS and Boss Spoiler

Anyone know if the LS spoiler will bolt right into the Boss spoiler holes. I assume the spoiler can be order through Ford parts as a replacement for LS cars. I do not want to modify my car much but I do like the gauge pack and spoiler on the LS.

The LS spoiler is exactly the same as the CS and/or GT Appearance Pedastal spoiler. It uses the same holes, but there are 2 additional holes that you can choose to drill, or just cut off.

There are 4 additional holes holes that would need to be drilled, one for each pedestal.

I was thinking it was a unique LS spoiler even though it looked like the standard pedestal spoiler. If I do this I may have to just buy a deck lid as I doubt I will want to drill holes in the original lid. I wonder how hard it will be to match the Yellow Blaze paint.

Having owned an original 70 I am a purest at heart and have a hard time modifying these cars. However the pedestal spoiler looks much better, also the advantages if I get it to the track.

The spoiler is also held on with adhesive tape and I don't think you'll need to drill the additional holes. It's not like it's going to fly off at 150 mph. While I like the looks of the CS spoiler I'm not a fan of it's construction. I'll be adding a GT500 spoiler to mine ASAP and most likely it will be the TruCarbon version. Unpainted of course.

There should be no issues matching that paint as long as you have the paint code.

For those unsure of their paint codes, they can be found in the order guide.

I know the paint code on the yellow, NQ. I am unsure how close it will match since the color is somewhat special. Depending on how you look at it and the light it is a different shade from a brighter yellow to almost a gold color. I wonder how it will look painted at different times, could be a shade off.

I am not in love with this yellow, a bright Yellow like on the 70 Boss would have been a much better choice but this is all they have so I had to go with it. Had the Orange also been brighter I may have done that. I am also very disappointed that the color of the stripes are gloss black. The flat black would have looked way better.

IMHO the top three things done wrong
Non-flat stripes
available in the color black
and not using the G code

Any good body shop will not have an issue matching the paint. My wife's car has a very unique color and when she got into a minor fender bender last year they were able to match the color perfectly.
