Lets see the headers!
Can someone take some pics of the OEM headers? I read that they're nice but I've yet to see a pic. I'm wondering if they could use a poor man's passivation with some vinegar...

OK. I haven't seen under the hood on anything newer than when the 4.6 came out. Soooo I really don't know what they look like. Soooo can anyone take a pic or two? I have seen enough pics of the splitter, the wheels, the Recaros, the dash, etc.

I didn't have time to watch this whole thing on video, but I seem to remember watching it on TV and they had a discussion on the headers that was interesting.

This is unrelated to the thread, but I'm pretty sure that I saw Bryan Fuller (of Two Guys' Garage) pop up during the Boss 302 documentary; it might have been during the dyno shots. I have also seen him on Overhaulin'. Could he be the fabricator?

Thanks Dave!
Just an FYI, anyone in a corrosive environment can do a poor man's passivation on stainless with vinegar. If you submerge a piece of SST for at least 45 mins (per the owner of Process Stainless) the vinegar will dissolve most of the pure iron particles on the surface. This makes the SST less susceptible to rust. That said it's a lot of work to remove them and at that point it'd be tough not to electro-polish them. It's relatively cheap and easy in a couple of places in San Jose/Santa Clara like Process Stainless. I had them EP a "build to print" part at 11:30 at night, then went directly to the customer's engineer's house and tapped in some dowel pins on his kitchen table in preparation for a next morning trip to Intel in another state!
No pressure.
