Leaking coolant
Not too bad yet, just droplets. I checked all hoses, seems to be coming from the water pump. Haven't been able to take apart things to check, but do these pumps have a plug?
Doesn't leak right away though and doesn't leak while sitting (used cardboard to check). I can drive 25 miles, stop and check and no leak, then drive three more miles, stop and check and see droplets on the belt beneath the pump and below the fan, etc.
Anybody else experience this? I have an appointment on Tuesday and also pm'd Deysha.

They're replacing the pump and now waiting on parts--in the shop til Thursday or Friday and I'm driving a Chrysler Sebring. Could be worse, but I'll fret about how she's treated the whole time, of course. Shop manager said he's replaced pumps on 4 or 5 on 2011 GTs of similar mileage (13K).

Car is back at home but they put a bit of regular antifreeze in. Part of the coolant is now green and there is a layer of crap floating at the top of the reservoir. Going to have it drained and filled tomorrow morning. Mechanic said he didn't use dye to test and that he used VC3B coolant but this ain't the case, obviously. Nice.
