Latest upgrades.....

Had the dealer rewire both 12v power points to work off the ignition switch. Installed an iPod in the center console that will stay there and charge when I drive. Downloaded Harry's Lap timer Pro to my iPhone. This has all the functions of a dedicated transponder for $17! Now, just adjust the shocks, bed the brakes and I'm ready to go.

So now they stay powered with the power off? Sounds good, got a photo of your setup?

No the opposite, I wanted them off when the ignition is off so I don't drain the battery.

Good idea, I might not do it on the Boss but been thinking of doing that to the truck's upper power point for the GPS.

Ah I didn't realize they are hot all the time. Is your iPod visible or just tucked in the center console? I got my VIN today with a build week of June 6th.

Nice setup, I am actually working on a custom iPad dock in my GT (original idea from 5th Stang). Might do the rewiring to kill the 12v while the car is off.

I just had to ship my PZRacing GPS Timetronic lap timer to Italy because of a "Memory Full" condition that wouldn't allow me to navigate anywhere or clear the memory! I really like it because it's simple. Just logs lap times and top speed each lap, and the display flashes at you when you record a faster lap than any previous in your session so it's easy to read.

Anyone know of a basic lap timer I can download to my Droid X in case this thing doesn't make it back in time for my next track event in Mid-June? I don't think things happen quickly in Italy. I was supposed to have 3-5 day delivery and I shipped it 6/12 and as of this morning it was "Back in Customs" after "Leaving Customs" yesterday.

5 DOT 0 , if your BOSS gets built on JUNE 6th, you have to name her
'OVERLORD" the code word for the invasion of Normandy.
