Kognition Design / Built 2 Apex wing project

Hello Fellow Boss owners.

I wanted to share some pics of my car with a brand new wing kit that was developed for our cars.

Kognition Design and Built 2 Apex worked together on a wing kit for the 2010 - 2014 Mustang GT, Boss 302, and GT500.

The Wing element is made by the best in the industry Kognition Design. Know for having wings on Record holding Time Attack cars.

The mounts are produced by Built 2 Apex.

I love the way it came out and cant wait to track test it after SEMA 2014.

Please let me know what you guys think of the kit.

It produces 750LBS of down-force at 160MPH so it will help keep the rear planted on track.

I gotta be honest... I think it looks freaking awesome! 750lbs too? If I had a chance to actually push 200mph in my Boss, I'd order one of these in a heartbeat!

Sweet pictures too!

The wing doesn't have to be pushed to that high of a speed to work. It is beneficial anywhere above 80mph. The maximum down force is just applied at the higher speed. A wing like this is even beneficial on auto cross.

Well when you say it's beneficial anywhere above 80 and on auto cross, you must know of some really fast auto cross courses!
