Just got my VIN #! Take a guess at my ETA
Just got my VIN #! Take a guess at my ETA
Wooo Hooooooo
This has been long awaited good news.

The Ford rep told me my ETA was Sept 19th but he did not have a build date? This kind of seems weird to me.....but I just took that news with a grain of salt.
Does anyone think it is possible that I could have the car in 19 days if I don't have a build date yet?
Let me know what your best quess is for my ETA...I would guess OCT 14th

Since you have your VIN, you can look up your window sticker and also find out your build date. Use this link . . . http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...icker.pdf?vin=
And add your VIN after the "=" to pull up sticker . . . .
If your sticker generates you should be able to see your build date in the upper left corner next to your state code. As an example, MI 120110426 with 4/26 being the build date.

It's a crapshoot. Some guys got their cars with a week of their build date, others received them 6 weeks after their build date. A lot depends on where the dealer is located and how many cars are being shipped to them. That's just an educated guess based on my experience and talking with other folks "in the know."
