That's good they were able to improve it. Do you run an ECT or Oil temp gauge or have any datalogs? I run a huge twin fan heat exchanger and C&R radiator with oversize intercooler reservoir. I also dial down the hp/tq from 640/625 to 575/545 using a 2.9" upper blower pulley versus the 2.6" I run on the street. I was still peaking IAT2s toward 160 and ECT into the low 230s with that setup in 85 degree ambient. I met David Murray up at BIR last summer at a PCA track event. He ran a Ford GT in the ALMS series and he said they were always battling the heat soak issue. They got pretty inventive with how they plumbed the intercooler and made it work, but still sounded like it was a battle to keep it cool on the road course. He was a really cool guy, even went out and sat at turn 3 and watched us for a session and coached us.
Since I got it a week ago I really don't have any datalogs as of yet. I just know under normal operation the car runs a lot cooler. I'll be sure to share them with you when I get a chance to record some.

Since my car's production isn't scheduled (supposed to be a 2Q car), I don't have my personal schedule together yet. Once I have an arrival date, I'll certainly let you know. I'll almost certainly be at the very last Summit Point Shenandoah event in October with Track Daze. I can give you a ride as a passenger if you'd like.
Right on!
I saw someone post on a Camaro forum complaining about Ford launching yet another Mustang. Funny thing was the next post was about how they wished Chevy would put out something to compete with them
My hats off to Ford. I'm VERY impressed with what they've done to transform the GT500 from a boulevard cruiser into a performance car from the factory.

I did some further checking and they ran the Streets course, much slower than the 9 turns of Willow. See the links below.

BOSS is incredible, I readed the article, and for the money the GT. About the tires, they mentioned that they like better the tires of the GT500 and after those the one's in the GT. The mayor complain in all articles about the GT500 is the shifter. When FORD is going to fix that?, And also improve the brakes of the BOSS to have a great machine. I wonder how it will compare with the Corvette Grand Sport, I can wait to see them side to side on the track.

With only a five second difference and without all the upgrades the best car was the V6. It's amazing what Ford has done with the Mustang. They've nailed it.
