Quick question regarding the great car/****ty driver.

I've taken my Boss around some corners at a decent speed (can't recall exact, had eyes on road) and it felt like to me, that I encounted under steer. It was about high 40's out side, would that be the issues, or could it be my shocks/struts still on 2?

The stock tires aren't too grippy when the temperature gets down that low, but it's hard to say what the problem (if any) was without knowing how you were driving it and the type of corner.

For example, if you try and take a 90* right turn (streetcorner) at 40mph, the car can't magically get around that--it is going to understeer.

You can also Create understeer if your slamming on the brakes and entering the turn simultaneously

i can tell you from experience that it take a while to get the tires up to temp in high-30 to low 40-degree weather. last time i was at the track it was 35-42-ish and the grip was substantially less than when warm on track. i actually spun the car on my second warm up lap and i was running at my warm weather warm up lap speed.

im no expert, but my track experience is that the car can oversteer if you come on or of the brake/throttle quickly, especially on a corner. its really predictable though and on a tight course you have to slide the car around for a decent time. once you get the hang of it a bit oversteer on corner entry with some trail braking can get you around surprisingly quick. you have to be careful though, a bump or too much throttle and you may spin.
