Got a commitment from the dealer for a Q4 build @ MSRP. Should I for for it?

Just got back from the dealer. Pleasently surprised they will sell at MSRP.

Their 2nd (and last) allocation is in Q4.

Was looking for opinions regarding me checking out other dealers to try to get an earlier delivery or is the consensus that if I order now (mid April), a Q4 build is about the best I can get.

Thanks for your thoughts / commnets....

If you want the car = yes.
If you do not want the car = no.

i think most of the early allocations are now gone. i ordered form jordan ford in san antiono three week sor so ago. At the time he had two more boss and a LS allocation, as of today they are all gone. once these run out there wont be any more for this year. jump on it, be sure you can get your money back if you change your mind and look around for a dealer that might be selling at msrp on one they ordered for stock, im not sure you will find that until late in the year though form what i have seen.

someone might jump in and tell you that they are all over cars.com at msrp right now, but when you call they almost always want 5k or so over and say the price was a "mistake" whatever, they just want you to call and try to sell you. anyway, get it while you can. i found one Q2 allocation very close to me that i called 3 weeks ago and he sold it before i could get him to tell me sticker or not. bastards. the more reviews that come out the more the hype will build and the harder these cars will be to find.

Keep in mind too that so far the only reviews are the folks that went to the press event and the big mags. Ford will get these things into the hands of local news stations and reviewers that aren't a big paper pub and we will see a second wave of exposure mid summer when those review cars land. i suspect that things won't die down until its so close to the 13's people start to hold out to see what they are like. the big "prestige" mags get them first, but when you take the hoards of smaller news stations, papers, and websites that review cars into account they have infinitely more readers than the mags that have already published.

Well, their advertised price is the same as what I paid. Are you saying they won't sell them for the price shown on Cars.com?

there is a thread around here somewhere where a lot of cars.com ads were posted, someone called on several that were at sticker and the dealers all wanted around5K over and claimed the post on cars.com was in error, classic bait and switch.
