Getting REALLY impatient waiting on TracKey!

The only big difference is that the program has to be up-loaded everytime you want to use it. About 5 minutes time. I'm ignoring supposed warranty issues.

I don't know about the rest of you (that have taken delivery at this point) but I'm not liking my BOSS any less just because some tuning from the manufacturer hasn't been released yet.

I'd like to share a tip with the Boss owners.
My Boss salesman said to me, "If the Trac key comes out whlie you are traveling on vacation and you choose to download it elsewhere, don't let that Dealer charge you.
When I asked what he was getting at, he said we'll do this for 'free'. but there's talk thas some dealers may want up to 500 bucks to download/activate the Trac Key. So just remember, we'll do it for free.
The point of this post being, maybe your dealer will do the same, ....... or maybe it will pay to shop around a bit?
You mileage may vary,...

I have a Brand new SCT XCAL3, that I had for my car I traded in, I was thinking of selling it, but now we'll see, I thought by law the warranty only gets voided if you damage car and was deemed through the mod?

Hey guys,
I checked on this again for you, and they are still waiting on CARB approval. Hopefully by the end of summer… which ends September 21st.

Perhaps Ford needs to partner with American Muscle. They could supply the Red Key tune through American Muscle and not even bother with CARB.
Having an aftermarket tuner supply the tune would take care of all the Gov't red tape.

I want some money back from Ford off the sticker price for the Track key...it was advertised as "part" of the Boss experience and it's not available. Complete BS!! I am sorry but I sell cars for a living and if we couldn't provide part of the purchase within 90 days ...let's just say we wouln't promise something we can't deliver. Not ANY dealers fault but Ford's
