Even if I dont feel any power difference on my Butt Dyno, I will still be happy
idle and the Launch control,
Ive had many many 69 Mach1s with Isky cams, and the Rough Idle is what I miss the most from new cars.
Isnt there a www.trackkey.ford.com or somthing like that to see progress of its release?

I can only imagine it's emissions related and they may have had to go back to change things slightly in the tune to make it pass emissions standards.

Trackey
Having done the track attack I can tell you the car's at Miller had the program, said Trackey active on the gauge, and they told us that they had just got the program, the things I noticed was improved throttle response, engine breaking, the lopey idle, did not play with the launch control, also noticed car was jerkey in first gear under very light throttle, but throttle response was way better, and I didn't think it was bad without trackey, mechanics there said it makes pedal and throttle blade 1 to 1 just like a aftermarket tuner

The delay with TracKey is emmisions related. CARB is running Ford through the ringer on this and it's already been stated the lopey idle will have to be detuned a bit. The lopey idle is overrun which will cause additional unburnt fuel and higher emmisions. Also the tune is not the same as the race cars. The race cars run high octane race gas, have no emmisions equipment and a different exhaust. I'm sure there are plenty of parameters that are the same but the tune is not identical. Now if TracKey makes adjustments for higher octane fuel that will be a win.
I'm more interested in what TracKey will do for lap times. The lopey idle will be cool but I'll rarely use launch control. The wait continues...

A long tube header they tried that cost $3500 (!) in materials bumped torque by nearly 60 ft/lbs. And from what I read Trackey should allow for a higher octane, no?

This is the link from Ford Racing and you can supposedly be updated via e-mail when TracKey is available. Unlike the rest of you I will have to try and find somewhere in Germany to get it done.

I think you meant engine braking, not breaking. There are enough threads about the MT82 breaking, let's not jinx the motor.

I think the lopey idle was one of the features most wanted by everyone.
