At least the box matches the color of my car.

I saw someone else post on one of the other forums about this recently. I don't recall what the fix was but it may have been a loose wire or cut insulation shorting out - sorry I don't recall.

If I happen across the other post again I'll come back here and give you a link.

Odd...So is it still like that, or did it go away?

Let it sit for 15mins (after removing the key). Start it again. Report it to your dealer to ensure they document it before warranty runs out. Hope it works!

It's always a good idea to unhook the battery, re-connect and see if the problem persists.

Ignition cycle didn't fix it, but after I got out of work, it worked fine when I started it back up for the drive home. Fluke hopefully?

Any other news on this? It just happened to me this morning. I also have a GHIG BOSS, maybe the display likes matching the exterior color from time to time...

As silly as it sounds it might make sense to bring it by the dealer, maybe firmware needs updating and they weren't aware of the issue.

That definitely seems like a dealer should take a look type of issue. Even if they can't re-pro it will be on file that you had the problem so if it gets worse there will be a documented history to back you up.

I never had an issue except for the one time leading to this post. It's been solid since.
