I think it's been available for awhile. The sterling gray 2013 brace is also available along with the seat delete kit. I've been thinking of buying the set and storing them for use when my kids no longer fit in the back seat.
Is that the whole kit including the rear seat delete? My previous links showed two separate items. The links are no longer working but the one below is. That's a lot cheaper than they were too. Now if you can get it in sterling gray I'm ordering now at that price.

I called and it appears it's a complete kit. Because it was just released they don't have the install instructions available yet but they should be up in the next week. I'd wait to see the instructions but the rep is 99.9% sure it's the complete kit.
That's exactly what Mike from Buyfordracing told me. He's confirming everything and as soon as I hear from him I'll post up.
It just makes sense for FRPP to offer a rear seat delete kit for the Mustang GT. Boss 302 owners can now make their Boss 302 look more like an LS. I would think the GT500 owners might be in the market for the kit also.
I think a few other companies are taking stabs at this product as well (steeda and cdc come to mind), but I need to see demonstrated results to warrant anything more than say $400 for what looks to be a very premium rear seat delete kit*.
* I know that it helps a LS car with chassis stiffness, however, does it help as much as $1600 spent elsewhere, like say with cooltech's parts, etc.

Would removing the entire rear seat, then replace with X Brace and its additional parts actually add weight over a standard Boss with a rear seat?
The cross brace adds shear strength to the normally open area where the seat backs are. Think of the way a sheet a plywood is added to the upright studs of a house during construction. The cross-brace serves the same purpose - but accomplishes this mission with a very light structure.

I ordered the kit last night from Buyfordracing. We shall see how well the kit will fit my '09 GT500.
FRPP released an instruction sheet last night. Some interesting photos therein...
