Found a SOMEWHAT decent price on oil..

MY local dealer wants $12.50 a qt and since I don't have an "in" there..I went looking a better price...This is what I found...:
http://k-mansparts.com/items/motorcr...qgt-detail.htm

$7.49 a qt is a WHOLE lot better than $12.50 a qt!
Don't know how legit it is but I ordered a case today..

I bought 20 qts at $7.50/qt from my dealer parts dept then provided the oil for the change to the service dept. Saved a lot by providing my own.

LOL

So basically the service department would charge you more for the extra effort of having to walk over to parts and get the oil? That's ridiculous. If anything, you think they would give you a bit of break on the oil itself to encourage you to use their service department where they will make more money on labor.

I don't blame you for getting the oil yourself if they do that.
