Also Evan Smith is the man when it comes to driving. The video of the E92 M3 is my buddy Drew, who is a pretty good hotshoe himself. Although with a DCT tranny that removes a lot of the skill out of it.

The M3 is modded thought vs. the Boss is a factory powertrain. My friend had similar mods on his M3 and it really woke the car up. He now has an AA supercharger kit on his M.

I forgot that BMW’s factory curb weights factor are a bit different than how US car mfg’s do.

Yea they weigh it with luggage.

The removal of primary cats and software can be worth almost 30-40rwhp on a M3, everything else is just noise.

I want to do a 4.10 diffy in the car...they want almost $3k to do it. I miss the Mustang days when you can have a ring and pinion installed for $500.

I was referring to Drew's comment about being in Waikiki. You have 16,000 miles on your Boss? Shoot I don't even have 1,600 on mine yet.

Nope, but we were discussing where we want to go for our Honeymoon, weighing the pros/cons of each option.

I think we settled on St. Maarten.

Arrived back in Phoenix 7:15am this morning, back at work at 9:30am lol.

Excellent choice, my wife and I spent our honeymoon there. If you go you have to take a boat over to Shoal Beach on Anguilla. Always voted as one of the top beaches in the world...and nobody is there.

I've been there. It's gorgeous!

My friend has a place on St. Martin and he took me over there via boat. Great scuba diving in Saba if you are into that.

I think that is 16,000kms ~ 9900miles. Still a lot of running, I only have 2500 on mine since Jun 9th.

Meh, to each thier own, magazines cater to thier audience unless they want to ruffle some feathers (like what was it? Sports Car Magazine and the Integra Type-R vs. Mustang GT comparo - the higher powered Mustang GT beat the Type-R on a big track, reader responses the next issue were interesting ).

A bit late reading this, but wow, I can't believe how different this mag tested vs the others.

I had a chance to test my boss and a buddies e92 m3 at streets of willow back to back. The steering on the m3 was sharper and the rear end stayed better planted than the boss in the back straight but all other areas the boss was more engaging, neutral, and quicker. Heck even the m3 owner liked the boss better on track. And then I had one of my instructor buddies who has a Porsche 911 blog drive them back to back on streets of willow and big willow. He said he'd choose the choose boss all day any day over the m3 even at the same price. He definitely got some flack for that on his blog when he posted that.

Often you get used to a style of car and then that is what you prefer. Europeans will never like the boss (or Viper), and some kids will think putting a coffee can muffler on will make their Honda faster then the Boss.
