FINALLY!!!!! Someone with the ballz to raise the limiter like i did. We ran mine with no limiter to fin the max RPM the factory Boss ECU could handle back in April 2011. The limit is due to crank sensor resolution and is 8400. I had my soft limiter set at 7800 and the hard limiter at 8000.

Keep in mind anythin over 7800 makes NO addl power EVEN with full exhaust and JLT intake. It doesnt drop off anywhere as bad as a GT over 6800 due to the intake, exhaust cam, and heads, but makes no addl power. Its just really nice on an autocross course not to have to shift to 3rd and have over 500 rpm of over rev built in!

Congrats my man I am so happy you did this! Now get American racing long tubes and JLT intake with the FRPP intake cams and you are on your way to 500 RWHP on a "Mustang dyno" or 520 on a dynojet

I think that this is pretty interesting.
Wow! Does anyone else here have the AED tune? I've never seen numbers like those before.

Someone on BMO is getting that tune with a few other goodies. Hopefully he will get a dyno when he's done.

I got mine done using the Track Key at American Muscle's show today. Not the best conditions considering the car was sitting out in the sun all day in low 90's heat and humidity. Apparently everyone was running low according to the tech.

Here is the YouTube video.

One stang had 792 hp and I don't know if that was the highest but that was pretty stout. But you can't complain about 380 plus horsepower either!

I have to say what makes you so all high in mighty about A boss. They are nice cars and everything but I saw a few non bosses on this post. Maybe your just pissed because A bolt on GTCS produced more power than the stock Boss. We are all Mustang owners and we all like different flavors. When you see a nice Stang or see nice numbers they are to be appreciated not to be downgraded because it is not your choice. I am sorry I messed up the thread by posting a non boss in it but I have a suggestion. GET OVER IT.

why run it at 8400 when I can produce more at 6700. And how would that be more relevant to the thread it was still not a Boss. I think my Boss friends would be appalled at your tude.

I think the point is, high hp at high rpm = less shifting on a road course. In the 1st vid did you blow smoke right before he let off?

I think the point is he is acting jealous because I saw other non bosses in here. There is no doubt that the Boss is a better track car than mine. When reading the post I did not notice the sub forum but saw the other cars. And yes I am proud of my numbers for the few bolt ons I did. Yeah on the first run there was a little smoke coming out just at back off. It smelled like it was running a little rich. It does not do that anymore since that dyno run. I am wondering if they high run caused the computer to change the settings on the 85MM throttle body. What was strange is ever since the dyno run my gas milage went from 17.8 to 18.4 and climbing. I also notice it is even more responsive. Since they did not tune it I thought they switched to summer blend gas. I talked to the dealer about it and they asked my miles. I told them just broke 11k. They told me that a car breaks in around 10 to 11 and with a hard run like on a dyno it finished the job. You learn something new everyday.

The car breaks in after 10k miles? I feel like that is 100% wrong.

Well that is what the dealer said. I am sure he is not talking the initial break in period but the whole break in period before everything loosens up to where it won't loosen up much more. Only quoting what the dealer said.
