Do it yourself clear bra

I am not sure if it was on this forum, but awhile ago someone posted a photo of his Boss wrapped in a material that looked like 3M but it was just a temporary film for I believe an upcoming track day. Anyone here?

There was a post or two about this product, it was called road wrap or something to that effect. The original link was to 'Griot's Garage'. I remember that because I book marked it at the time. Unfortunately they do not carry the product any more and i'm not sure who does.

Road Wrap is the name and someone sent me a link to California Car Cover. It looks like they carry it. Thanks.

i think you might have seen my car. here is a pict with the road wrap on it.
griots does not carry the small rolls anymore but still has the 18" in stock.
the company that makes it has it on their website, if you just google road wrap you will find it. i think its empirecovers.com

If memory serves me the one I saw was not applied as well as yours. This is what I was looking for though. Thanks for all the suggestions, I will check out Pep Boys.

Seems a lot cleaner looking than my 3M Scotch Blue painters tape bra.
And looks like removal would be much easier as well.

the only hard part about it is cutting with that cutting blade they provide, i use another knife to cut with but everything else is pretty smooth. if you get the applicator pad with felt its much better, like putting a piece of vinyl on your car. they do recommend that you try and not put on the car when its hot but i do after car shows for the ride home. as long as you take it off right when you get home and then use some quick detailer to remove any extra dirt your ok. (sometimes it will leave a smudge on the car but nothing that cannot be removed) im very happy with results. people look at me funny when im putting it on.
