07 GT500 Vs My Boss
A buddy and I plan to run our cars at the local airport tomorrow morning. He has a CAI, Cat Back, Ported Blower (pullied) and a tune. I know he will win but by how much?

Sounds like my car, jeez I wish I had been to the track since installing those mods. I'd be able to give you a better answer, in any event;
The only example I can give is walking away from my friends mostly stock terminator (he has a mid-pipe, cat back and CAI). I was in 2nd and he was in 1st and I sucked him right up.
If I had to guess, his car should be capable of low 12s or faster. From a dig things might not be to bad for you (the 1st gen GT500s make a truck look like a mid-engine car when it comes to F/R distribution making them tricky to launch - provided the rear suspension hasn't been modded), from a roll you'll have a harder time.

From a dig I used launch control 3500rpms. Me by a car until the top of third.............Ran out of room, we started at the end of the strip.BTW he spun and spun and spun. If he had traction then it would have been a different story.

Even with LCAs and relocators on good tires (but not drag radials) I have trouble launching above 1800 RPM
