No way! I love the tri-bar pony! I like the give and take where the vinyls are in your face, and the fogless grill and emblems balance the looks with understatement. Anyway, i dont see the reason fir all the harassment on removing the stripes. People act as if you will never be able to replace the stripes.

 

Actually your right about the tri bar, I do like it, I just wish the V6 might have gotten something special also. Not to offend anyone, but it seems like the guys with the Corvette's that wear the hats and never change anything on them, or even drive them.

 

Maybe you should get the 302 faux gas cap emblem, or this decal http://www.trackdaysolutions.com/graphics_B302.html. I have this on my trunk lid, goes on pretty easy with soapy water. Learn that after I ruined 2. My stripes are staying put, I may be taking the hood stripe off because a seagull ruined it. I have a 4-5" bird**** burn right in the middle of the decal. It was only on there 5-10min. Thought I got it out, but its permanent. I'll ether have the stripe painted on there or wait and get a Tiger hood.

 

I had thought about getting the 302 gas cap, but I eventually figured it would be silly to plaster 302 all over the car.

 

I love this. Mostly because I was going back and forth on what wheels I wanted to get for my car: 302S/LS replicas or takeoff base Boss 302 wheels. Guess I'm a poser taking away from the heritage too. Whatever. I like the wheels. Heritage doesn't mean **** to some people. Some stripes don't take away from the adjustable shocks, forged motor, or 7500 rpm redline. If I could have ordered a 2014 Boss for invoice, I would have, and then I would have pulled the stripes off it.

 

That could never happen.

I washed my Boss yesterday, and really took note of the stripes because of this thread. I like the stripes, and love the side stripe where it says Boss 302. I like the way they did that.

 

Why, because it's impossible for you to imagine that some people didn't enter the market until after they discontinued the Boss?

That was the issue, since you didn't spell out that you knew Ford had already discontinued the Boss, and it was just a pipe dream, I see where our confusion was as well.

 

I assume TP means Track Pack...but you might want to spell that out too. Back in the day, TP meant toilet paper...

De striping the Boss is just horrible . Lmao! Kind of cool that some Boss guys want to semi clone the V6 model. Shows how bad as heck the V6 is. Lol
