Cylinder Head Temp

So I got to playing around with some of the gauges on the long drive over to the Coast today. My cylinder head temp was 205 to about 214, is that within what is normal?

Living in Arizona, I've seen temps above 230 and 240....If I remember right 246 was the highest with a inlet air temp of 156 degrees....normal temps for me in the heat are in the 220 range so you are doing good !!!

Mine runs anywhere from 125 to 135 above ambient when going down the interstate. A 100 degree day will hit 225-235, depending on up or down hill.

Yeah, I hit 230 today, outside air temp was 121. We went car shopping in 121 degree heat, not too smart but got lots of free water !
