2013 Mustang V6 "Premium" - 6th Cylinder Misfire, Et Al
Hi,
Hoping someone can help guide me as to the issues i'm having with my Mustang. Its a 2013 with 65K miles. Since last year the check engine light has indicated that there is a 6th cylinder misfire...I took it into a mechanic to diagnose and they tell me that the 6th cylinder isn't misfiring, spark plugs are fine, nothing wrong...after time the check engine light went away so i assumed it wasn't an issue anymore. This year since Feb the check engine pops up again, same 6th cylinder misfire, again told its not misfiring and the check engine light goes away. Beginning in March, once again the check engine light came on and it was when i was accelerating onto the highway...the check engine light came on again and this time it was flashing constantly and i smelled a sulfuric smell...when i got off the highway the car was stuttering/rumbling at the stop light....the check engine light stopped blinking but stayed on. took it to an autozone and they did their thing and it said replace ignition coil...i'm now noticing a huge loss of power...it struggles to get to 40-50MPH....transmission issues now? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
