Another former Subi owner. Wish I could have kept her as my winter car and the Boss as my summer car!

Ron that's a beauty. As fun as a classic can be they just can't touch the performance of a modern car. I'm also a big fan of seat belts and air bags.

Hi JAG
You and I had the exact same car which we traded in.
I must tell you I miss the heck out of my STI anytime I am not behind the wheel of my Boss. That all changes once I turn the key and start that 302 up. Oh and I love that the Subie owners mostly have pictures of their cars out on B or C roads. I am already looking at used 2011 Hatchs , if I can find one below $25K I might have to pull the trigger

Sold it out right last week. This will be my 3rd Mustang (1st car I owned was a 69 Mustang Fastback 351W) and this will be my first new car in 10 years. I am looking forward to it. It is nice to see how everyone says they just can't stop smiling when they are behind the wheel, especially the people who owned far more expensive cars that are supposed to be real drivers. Mine was built Feb 29th and it should arrive soon, I hope.

I would think in about 3 to 4 weeks if there on schedule. You car does not have far to be transported. Good luck and post them pictures!!!!

Same here, I live in an area that gets plenty of snow so I am sure it will not be my last Subaru. The Boss is my daily driver for now but will find something before next winter. Did you have the Special edition? If so I hope you made out as well as I did. Paid 31and change two years ago and got 28 in trade for the Boss. Three grand of depreciation over two years made my smile that much bigger driving home the Boss!

Jeeebus! That's great resale value. My z4m only lost 6k in 3 years. Did I mention all three years and 26k mi were track miles .

I'm thinking in 3 years the boss may be worth 30k in trade if I'm lucky. That'll be a 15k hit

I am thinking they will hold their value since there are only 8,000 produced and no more after this year. Once the supply gets shut off the ones that are available will get scooped up. In 5 years, I think you could maybe break even or maybe take a little hit. If the price of new cars continues to rise that will help too.

I got very much the exact same deal. Mine only had 6,500 miles on it so my trade value was slightly higher. Well done JAG!
If I find a good deal on a used one out here in LA I'll probably pick it up before this winter, otherwise its going to be exciting to see if Subaru puts the new BRZ engine in turbo form into the next gen STI. Anywya I better stop talking about the subaru..this isnt NASIOC ... LOL
