I sure wish I could afford one. Maybe Cooltech would be interested in sponsoring a bar with Cooltech decals on it for my car........LOL
O-Well, some day the money will come along.
Can't wait to see your car in person.
Are there any CoolTech decals? I am a decal wh#re!

No...I really don't.....but I was not "in the know", if there had been any changes in the car, that would make the roll bar year or model specific. Usually it is the case, that it is just my luck that something I really want, won't fit what I have. I guess I tended to think it might be 10+ specific, since this thread and all the info has been in this 2010 - 2014 section.

This is GREAT news to me....will be going back over my 2012 car budget...seeing if I can either move things around or decide to sacrifice something else, for the sake of getting this roll bar!!

As a follow up to my last post....does anyone know why this roll bar wouldn't fit any 05 + S197?

Anyone know of any body or interior changes from the 05 - 09 to the 2010 - 2012 that might preclude installing the roll bar as is from CoolTech?

Anyone else with an 05 - 09 S197 interested in this besides me??

I have an '07, '08 and a '12. It will work in all of them. It will fit any coupe from 2005-2013.

Thanks for that info!

It makes things both easier and harder...easier in the fact that I now know for sure I want this roll bar...harder in the sense that I have to reexamine and rearrange this year's car budget!!

I guess the Torsen diff may get bumped to next year!

Hi Sabre,

Don't forget that with the bar you have to do a rear seat delete!
Also start saving money to buy the recaro seats so you can use the bar to attach a six point harness. Oh forgot save money for the six point harness too.
Ok got to get back to work and pay for all this.

Hey thanks for the reminders.....

I have the seat delete in already...have been looking at some Sparco Evo 3 seats and harness....so ya....gotta start working a little overtime and putting a little more in the Mustang Mods fund!

If only there was a little more overtime here I could realy go crazy with the mods, like a tiger hood, larger rear wing, one piece D/S, cat back exhaust, well you get the idea ;-)

Well I took Adfharley's advice and made my own rear seat delete. Came out nice, but it might weigh more than the seats it replaced! Still waiting on a few black coated metric screws to finish it up. It finished off the roll bar mounts nicely!

Let me tell you guys I went to Mikes house today, the Rollbar really looks like a Ford install and quality, wish Ford would have made that a option..

Finally have the belt clips in stock. Also, included a picture of the production belts. (Note: I'm short on the cam-release decorative cover, so I may send you early adopters the belt set without the cam cover piece but I will follow-up with those covers as soon as I receive them. They are very easy to attach yourself.)

Anyway, here's a couple of pics.

Hi Adam. I do remember your ping - sorry not to have answered. These shoulder harnesses are the exact ones we are using in the Ford GT for the standing mile event (200 MPH+) and most of my clients are using in conjunction with HANS device. As such, there is NO compatibility conflict with the HANS. I saw a pic of the narrower, dog-bone straps.... I'm just reluctant to start offering different variations when I am first trying to get everything else we have in stock. If you are anyone else "has to have" the dogbone style shoulder straps - email me and I'll do what I can to get them for you.

I'm using the same harnesses with my HANS. They'll work just fine.

No worries, I know you are busy... Let me know when you have everything in stock ready to go. I don't need them yet.
