My friend was on the freeway do 70mph in his new boss, when everything shut off. Lucky it was a 3am. Anyone else experience complete shut down?

Was he driving a Yugo? Maybe it just went to sleep.

Someone mentioned a similar experience on their drive home from the dealer. It turned out to be a loose ground wire near one of the computers.

what is the milage on the car? mine nearly got me ran over teh day i picked it up from dealer, it takes a few miles to "unlock" the engine

He just got it a couple weeks ago can't be more than 500 or so

Yes, I was the one with the loose ground. That is exactly what would happen. We would hit a bump and the car would lose all power and then fire back up a few seconds later. Scary stuff.

Correct! The car has been flawless ever since. It's almost at 3000 miles.
