Cell phone holder for 12V plug in?
I've been googling and I have not found the right holder yet.
Anyone find a cell phone mount/holder that will plug into the 12V that's in the center of the car?
Please share...

it's mustang specific. they are made to mount specifically to the car. those are nice, but if you upgrade phones you typically need a new holder section. those things come in two parts with the actual mount and the phone holder separate. i like my suction cup RAM x-grip. the only time i use it is when i need gps from my phone or a lap timer at the track.

The mount your using will work in all cars with a cig lighter on the dash.
So I ask again, how is this Boss specific? You'd have more traffic in the general vehicles forum. Just saying.

Who cares if it's "Boss-specific?" That's what he owns. 
The Mods will move the thread if they feel the need to.
I like the mounts from ProClip, and have a mount from them in my Miata. I had not ordered anything for my 2011 GT (not a Boss), so I just ordered the Console Mount.

My 2 cents. I dont have a boss yet, but feel it is revelant to boss readers
As it gives ways of installing modern tech devices such as navigation,
Cell phones, gps and the like. I have a gps mount for my iphone which
I plan on using but i may want to mount it somewhere other than
The suction cup to the windshield. I say the more threads related to what
we can do to the boss the merrier. If you dont like a thread, skip it or ask
an admin to let you be a moderator. Subscribed!
