Car is built! Awaiting shipment.
Awesome!! Try to grab a pic of the sticker on the driver's side rear window.
The 25th of what? That's kind of where I'm at at this stage.
I'm seeing B2 cars on EBay with much higher VINs than mine. I know that this isn't supposed to mean anything, but I can't believe that the VIN numbers don't have anything to do with the order they are coming down the line.

From looking at the Number Plate thread, it looks like the VIN numbers are pretty much in sequence with the built numbers. Mine was built on 05/20 and is in the 4,000 series of VIN's. Based on the number plate thread that would make the build number on mine in the 800's. Won't know for sure until I get it.

What's the big deal? Already heard it. Just speculating and guessing like everyone else seems to be doing. There does seem, repeat , seem to be a correlation on the BOSS list between VIN and build number. Doesn't mean there is. Didn't say there was. When no one knows--everyone guesses! Good way to pass the time while we wait for Ford to ship the BOSS backlog.

Just thought I would throw in a heads up... I did get my car (just 20 days after the build was complete). It is number 1186, and the wait, as they say, was completely worth it. The car is absolutely remarkable, and the Blaze Yellow in the sunlight is something to behold (pics don't seem to do it any justice). I picked it up in NM and drove it back to my place last week (500 miles).
Thanks TMS and Deysha for all of your support. Thought I would post some pics. That's me in the white BOSS 302 t-shirt that my nephew got me when he was at Barrett-Jackson last spring (where they auctioned off the first - and only - 2012 Grabber Blue Boss 302), and the other man is my dealer, who made it all possible.

Deysha, I wanted to thank you for all of your help with updates and tracking my car. You did a fantastic job and I appreciate you putting up with all my PM's. Here's a couple of photos of me with my new toy and my Boss with the Ford Racing SVT wheels added.
