Can't keep side pipe's tight

Ever since I removed the discs I've had issue's with the bolts just under the rocker panel. If I get them too tight then they buzz in the door panels, If I leave them a bit looser then they work ok for a bit, but then get loose and buzz the same way. I've tried two different loc-tite products and am still unable to keep it consistently tight.
I detest the buzzing in the door panels!
Is there a specific torque # anyone's found to work well or anything else...

Dave, make sure you have about 1/2" clearance between the side pipes and floorpan. I didn't leave enough clearance first time around and had a similar problem. There is a lot of "play" at the two bolt flange so ensure you come off at the correct angle.

Had the same problem and it turned out to be clearance problem with the floor pan near where the side pipes bolt up to the exhaust.

You can even go with a little less but not too much about 3/8. If you have trouble getting it lined up in a good position, loosen the long bolt on the adjustment band and you can rotate the pipe better. My came from the factory a little off and this fixed it.
